Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL) is India’s largest fast moving consumer goods company with a heritage of over 80 years in India and touches the lives of two out of three Indians.

the challenge

The key task at hand was to ensure a seamless consumer journey of Lakme consumers thereby stimulating and shaping their buying behavior.

the solution

We started by setting up a team of media planners, designers and strategists within the HUL premises for Lakme. We created clutter breaking digital campaigns across channels through creating meaningful content. We completely redesigned the Lakme e-commerce portal with A+ content, lifestyle shoots & other rich media creatives.

Our aim was to reduce the overall cost by focusing on consumer’s purchasing journey. Which is where our collaboration helped us in making robust marketing decisions such as Return On Advertising Spend – a metric that measured the efficacy of every campaign we ran across. As a result, we considerably reduced the overall marketing spends thereby increasing the order volumes as well.
